  • Travis concert at S'pore F1 GP

Travis performed in this year's Singapore F1 GP in September. Not a fan of the F1, but a big fan of Travis, so of course I went. It was Qualifying Night too so the tickets were cheaper compared to Final Race Day tics.

Travis were great! I've been a fan of them since they first came out in the late 90's and it was great for this concert they played back a lot of their old hits from way back from their first album. Brought back lots of nice memories listening to their songs from my poly days to ns to uni and even till now.

    Beside the race track

Waiting for the race to start. Those orange thingies in the ears are earplugs, the cars are so loud.

Effort betul nak tangkap gambar kereta....they move so fast, they're gone in a sec!

We were very close to the stage...on the 2nd row. And terjumpa one of our cousins too...hee.

Fran went down to the crowd for one of their songs. That was how close Anga was to him...hehe

    After the concert. Happy.

    Hujan Live In Singapore 2009

We went to Hujan's first Singapore concert at Republic Polytechnic on the 7th of October.

We thought the tickets were kinda pricey ($58) since they're a local band and the venue is a school...but I guess it's alright when you consider the first 50 buyers get to meet the band and receive a goodie bag with their new album cd inside. Sadly for Hujan and the organizers though...the turnout was very poor (maybe others thought it was expensive too).

The concert started off with a few opening bands from Singapore, but with the exception of The Marilyns, i thought the opening bands kinda sucked haha. But Hujan didn't disappoint...they were great and the sound system was surprisingly good. Singer Noh was being funny throughout the night too, which made it more entertaining.

With the band before the concert.

    The Meet n Greet session.
Food sponsored by Badoque. And you know what - I was actually at Badoque the day before. Went passed the place and saw some activity going on but didn't think to check it out...only then that I realised it was actually Hujan that day! haha

Noreen got them to autograph her ticket. Anga had a CD sleeve and I had a poster autographed as well.

    Merchandise.
I bought the T-shirt, keychain, guitar pick and of course i'm a sucker for car decals...hee

    Adzfar & Aiman's Birthday Party

Adzfar & Aiman had their belated 5th birthday celebrations at Aloha Loyang chalet last Saturday. The theme for the party was 'Superheroes', and looking at their personal photo frames (below) prepared by Noreen - i guess Adzfar was Ultraman and Aiman was Spiderman for the day.

Adzfar with his Transformers and Aiman with his Dinosaur (lari dari theme) birthday cakes.
Poor Aiman was sick; so you can see he wasn't really in the mood that day.

Nasi Lemak and Mee for the adults and plenty of finger foods and pizzas for the kids

    Aaridz Zakwan

Sis gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Aaridz Zakwan, on Monday 09.11.09 (nice date), weighing 3.94 kg, at East Shore Hospital.

I was at Tanglin Police Division for my reservist training when I received the good news through sms from abah and mami. Went to the hospital directly after training to see the baby. Anga and Noreen were already there, while abah and mami arrived later with the kiddos.
